So what do we do?
We exist to make young people in hospitality feel seen, valued, and able to grow at their own pace.
We support young people through:
- Monthly development sessions Confidence, communication, leadership, wellbeing and real‑world skills.
- Mentoring & peer support A safe space to talk, learn and grow with people who understand the industry.
- Community & belonging A network of young people across Yorkshire who lift each other up.
- Opportunities & events Roundtables, guest speakers, Rise & Serve, the annual conference and more.
- Championing young voices Giving young people a platform to shape the future of hospitality.
We run Boards:
Each cohort last for 6 months. Board meetings are held at different members work places.
- Made up of a diverse group of young people working in the sector
- Includes round table discussion, mentoring, project work, and self reflection
- They are about learning, community, and friendship
We run events:
We love getting people together to celebrate, learn, and share our experiences.
- Our very first conference: Hospitality, The Leaders of Tomorrow (see more under the “Events” tab)
- Celebrate Hospitality events: After each cohort they graduate, inviting as many people as we can to celebrate their achievement!
Who’s it for?
1) Young People under 30 working in hospitality in the early stages of their management career
If you want confidence, community and support – you belong here.
2) Young people not working or learning who are considering hospitality as a job and career
Our “Rise & Serve” programme is for you. A place to be part of a team and achieve something special.
3) Employers & Partners
Organisations who want to develop, retain and champion their young talent should get in touch to find out more!
Our approach:
We are not a leadership programme we are creating a community. We are softer, slower, kinder – intentionally.
We help young people feel confident, supported and connected and focus on:
- People, not performance
- Growth, not pressure
- Belonging, not competition
- Confidence, not perfection
Because when young people feel supported, they thrive – and so does the sector.
The outcome:
Young people who feel:
- More confident
- More connected
- More capable
- More hopeful
- More proud to be part of hospitality
And a sector that is stronger because of them.
What else?:
We do all sorts and continue to evolve including:
- We have our podcast #LetMeCallMyManager
- We plant a tree for every cohort member
- Our members write “thought leadership” pieces
- Our social content shares not only the day to day life of being in hospitality but hints, tips and insights from young people making their way in the profession
